Mette Baillie was absolutely fantastic to work with. I came to her as a bride already with a dress but looking for a hand made lace bolero to elevate the look. Mette was fabulous and created such an incredible piece, made even more impressive as she wasn't able to see my dress and made the design look so amazing that many thought it was a part of the original dress! Choosing Mette to design my dress was one of the best things about the wedding. I had so many ideas in my head of what I wanted, and Mette brought my vision to life perfectly. Like many brides, stress levels were high, but Mette never once added to this. I always felt I was in safe hands, and that our visions were aligned. Going through the process can feel uncertain at times, but Mette works and is led by you every step of the way. Eternally grateful, it’ll forever be a masterpiece to me.
Having a dress made for the first time and for such an important event as out daughters wedding was a bit daunting. As soon as I met Mette and her team, I felt really at ease. Mette listened carefully to what I thought I needed and was immediately in tune with my ideas. Her confidence gave me confidence and the result was a beautiful dress which I felt completely comfortable in and so enjoyed wearing. The workmanship is superb , fittings were easy and without embarrassment. I would absolutely recommend her and her team ,both to those who know exactly what they want but also to those of us less sure of ourselves and feeling a little hesitant.
